Login and complete your online training. Print and take both certificates with you to your practical training.

Step 3:

On the day of Training
Your trainer will stamp your certificate(s) (provided you demonstrate compliance) and you can use them for clinical placements.

What we Offer

Qualification of Trainers

IntelliLearn’s minimum requirements for its trainers are:

  • Certificate IV in TAE (Training and Education)
  • RNs with a minimum of 5 years clinical and education experience
  • Hold current NMBA registration
  • Have completed IntelliLearn endorsed “train the trainer” courses
  • Attend relevant annual updates of each course taught

Insurance

Insurance carries:

  • Public and Products Liability: $20,000,000
  • Professional Liability: $2,000,000 per claim and $4,000,000 in the aggregate

Student Attendance

The University can be provided with a list of students who have attended each practical training session marked as completed, not yet completed and comments for follow up (as relevant).

    Student Evaluations

    Students are required to complete evaluations of the courses once completed. A summary of these evaluations may be forwarded to the University upon request.

        As of 19 March 2020, two Universities have postponed their Student+Safe training for a later date but all others are proceeding with training. This could change with little notice so please check back here regularly and also check your email regularly (including SPAM and JUNK folders).

        Universities and Venues that will be Training as normal

        The following Universities and Venues are proceeding with their training as normal:

         • ECU

         • Fremantle Hospital

         • Murdoch University

         • UTAS

         • Flinders University

         • GPK

        Universities postponing training (until a later date to be advised) are:

        • Curtin University students who were scheduled to train between 31st March 2020 and 1st April 2020

        University of New England

        • UNISA

        Students at these two Universities will be contacted by email (please check this regularly including SPAM and JUNK folders) with further information about new training dates. Please rest assured that we will be providing this training as soon as we can.

        If you are attending Training...

        If you feel unwell or show any cold or flu symptoms or have returned from a high/moderate risk country in the last 14 days or have been in contact with anyone who has confirmed COVID 19 during the last 14 days you are strictly prohibited from undertaking the training. 

        Please ensure that when you attend training on campus that you follow the strict requirements including:

         • Thoroughly washing your hands before and after training and using hand sanitiser 

         • DO NOT shake anyone’s hand - use a gesture to greet your friends and colleagues

         • DO NOT un-necessarily touch surfaces and avoid touching your face

         • Cover your coughs or sneezes with a disposable tissue or your elbow

        Our trainers will be strictly enforcing these policies during the training and any student not adhering to them may be removed from the training.
