Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

 

***This information may change without notice so please check back here regularly***

As of 19 March 2020, two Universities have postponed their Student+Safe training for a later date but all others are proceeding with training. This could change with little notice so please check back here regularly and also check your email regularly (including SPAM and JUNK folders).

Universities and Venues that will be Training as normal

The following Universities and Venues are proceeding with their training as normal:

 • UNISA (City East only)

 • ECU

 • Curtin

 • Fremantle Hospital

 • Murdoch University - June dates have been re-scheduled to July. Each student will be emailed their new date

 • Flinders University

 • GPK

Universities postponing training (until a later date) are:

 • University of New England

 • UTAS

 • UNISA (Mt Gambier and Whyalla only)

Students at these three Universities will be contacted by email (please check this regularly including SPAM and JUNK folders) with further information about new training dates. Please rest assured that we will be providing this training as soon as we can.

If you are attending Training...

If you feel unwell or show any cold or flu symptoms or have returned from a high/moderate risk country in the last 14 days or have been in contact with anyone who has confirmed COVID 19 during the last 14 days you are strictly prohibited from undertaking the training. 

Please ensure that when you attend training on campus that you follow the strict requirements including:

 • Thoroughly washing your hands before and after training and using hand sanitiser before and after every activity during the session

 • DO NOT shake anyone’s hand - use a gesture to greet your friends and colleagues

 • DO NOT un-necessarily touch surfaces and avoid touching your face

 • Cover your coughs or sneezes with a disposable tissue and immediately wash your hands

Our trainers will be strictly enforcing these policies during the training and any student not adhering to them may be removed from the training.
